Met trots kondigt ARTE een nieuwe samenwerking met Moooi aan! Wanneer twee topdesignmerken hun krachten bundelen mag je iets speciaals verwachten. Dat is zeker waar voor de samenwerking tussen Moooi en Arte. Moooi is het opmerkelijke designmerk dat door Marcel Wanders werd opgericht. Al meer dan tien jaar weet dit merk de wereld te inspireren en te verleiden met sprankelende en vernieuwende creaties. Met Arte verwierven we internationale faam als ontwerper van de meest luxueuze en gesofisticeerde muurbekledingen.

Geïnspireerd door elkaar lanceren we later dit jaar samen de collectie muurbekleding Extinct Animals.
 

Extinct Animals

Een uitzonderlijke collectie muurbekleding geïnspireerd door 10 recent ontdekte tekeningen van uitgestorven dieren van de hand van getalenteerde kunstenaars uit het verleden. Deze schetsen stralen de nooit eerder geziene schoonheid van exotische, wilde schepsels uit. De typische kenmerken en het karakteristiek uitzicht van de dieren werden in een collectie van luxe muurbekledingen gegoten. Elk motief werd geïnspireerd  door de typische eigenschappen van een dier. Opvallende combinaties van kleuren, eigenschappen en motieven van de vacht, pluimen of huid brengen de dieren op spectaculaire wijze terug tot leven op onze muren.

Dessins uit de collectie dragen de namen van diverse dieren: Menagerie of Extinct Animals, Dodo Pavone, Calligraphy Bird, Umbrella Squid, Blushing Sloth, Bearded Leopard, Flying Coral Fish, Dwarf Rhino, Aristo Quagga, Blooming Seadragon en Armoured Boar.

Menagerie of Extinct Animals

Het Menagerie of Extinct Animals is een fantastische digitale jungle print waarin elk van de tien uitgestorven dieren verborgen zitten.
 

Dodo Pavone

3D muurbekleding met de look van zacht suède, geïnspireerd door de natuurlijke outfit van de Dodo Pavone – een zachte pluimage van zilverkleurige veren met verschillende tinten van grijs, blauw, beige en wit.
 

Calligraphy Bird

Muurbekleding met een dessin in hoogglanzende lak, dat de elegante staartveren van de vrouwelijk Calligraphy Bird weergeeft. Ze eindigden in sierlijke krullen die rechtstreeks uit de kalligrafie lijken te komen.
 

Umbrella Squid

Muurbekleding met textuurprint, ingegeven door de magische huid van de Umbrella Squid. Die was bedekt met lichtgevende 'juwelen', die van kleur veranderden om zich aan de omgeving aan te passen.
 

Blushing Sloth

Bedrukte muurbekleding met flock. Ze lijkt op de prachtige vacht van de Blushing Sloth, die zo stil en rustig leefde dat er op de buitenste lagen van zijn vacht algen konden groeien die de dieren een adembenemende gloed gaven.
 

Bearded Leopard

Muurbekleding op basis van folie bekleed met kurk en afgewerkt met flock. Ze is geïnspireerd op de vacht van de Bearded Leopard – lichtgeel tot diepgoud met een donkerkleurige verzameling van rozenknoppen als versiering.
 

Flying Coral Fish

3D muurbekleding met de look van zacht suède en een motief dat doet denken aan de borstvinnen van de Flying Coral Fish, als fijne, delicate en doorzichtige vleugels.
 

Dwarf Rhino

Matte 3D muurbekleding die teruggrijpt naar de unieke structuur van de oude huid en typische grijsbruine plooien die het lijf van de Dwarf Rhino bekleden, met de robuuste uitstraling van een harnas.
 

Aristo Quagga

Bedrukte muurbekleding met een afwerking in flock, geïnspireerd door de delicate vormen en vorstelijke verschijning van de Aristo Quagga.
 

Blooming Seadragon

Bedrukte muurbekleding met flock, geïnspireerd door de mysterieuze Blooming Seadragons, die spectaculaire, op bladeren lijkende gele, bruine en groene aanhangsels konden ontplooien als een slimme camouflage.
 

Armoured Boar

Muurbekleding met gaas en Japans papier, die de glanzende vacht van de Armoured Boar voorstelt. Zijn bovenlichaam was bedekt met zwarte en goudkleurige schubben die hem een ornamentaal uitzicht gaven.
