Deze muurbekleding, zoals dit type luxe behang ook wel wordt genoemd, wordt vervaardigd uit echte metaalfolie. Tijdens de productie ondergaat ze een intensief proces dat speciaal voor deze collectie werd ontwikkeld. Daarbij wordt de folie zo gekleurd dat ze uiteindelijk de schakeringen krijgt van een authentieke metaallook. Tot slot worde de patronen op de muurbekleding gedrukt, en eventueel afgewertk met een laagje satijnlak of glasparels.

When natural meets industrial
De ARTE Metal X Signum behangpapier collectie speelt voortdurend met het contrast tussen levendige motieven en de industrieel geïnspireerde achtergrond. Twee patronen vallen in die zin bijzonder op. Natura neemt je mee naar een oosters bamboebos, Gloria beeldt een eerder klassiek bladermotief af. In combinatie met de metallic uni creëren beide motieven uit de natuur een schitterende spanning. Hier komen natuurlijke en industriële thema’s samen: nature meets industry.

Rustgevende mandala’s
ARTE Forum behang brengt een tikje spiritualiteit in de collectie. Het mandalamotief doet denken aan boeddhistische tempels, wapperende vlaggetjes en rustgevende muziek. De glanzende zilver- en goudtinten maken dat gevoel helemaal af. Dankzij de overeenstemmende kleurtonen op voor- en achtergrond wekt het geheel toch geen overdadige indruk.

Geometrische schoonheid
Ook de geometrische motieven zijn vertegenwoordigd in de reeks Metal X Signum. De repetitieve patronen van ARTE Arcum behang en ARTE Domus behangpapier worden uitgevoerd in verschillende kleuren en zijn onder meer gedrukt in satijnlak. Die afwerking geeft het geheel een schitterende glans en creëert bovendien de subtiele illusie van reliëf.

De dessins ARTE Classo behang en ARTE Quadra behang sluiten de reeks af. Beide motieven bevatten rechthoeken, maar dan met een verrassende twist. De vormen van Classo lijken je als oosterse waaiers vanaf de wand koelte toe te wuiven. Special splash of colour
A constant theme of the entire collection is the extra attention which goes into all aspects of colour. The patterns are always layered tones. This means the overall effect of both the foreground and the background are displayed to best advantage. The satin coating finish in some colourways for Arcum and Domus adds a touch of brilliance and relief to these wall decoration. Finally, some colours of the patterns Quadra, Gloria and Domus include glass beads. The reflection of light imbues the wall decoration with an extra luxurious feel.
